The card also offers a recurring points bonus an your “anniversary” of having the card. With this you’ll receive 3,000 bonus points just for being a member. That equates to $50.00 in free points. For purchases, you receive 1 point for every $1 an all non Southwest purchases. You will receive 2 points for every $1 on every Southwest Airlines purchase, such as flights, in flight food and beverages, etc. You will receive 2 points for every $1 at their partner car rental companies, along with their partner hotels. The Southwest credit card APR is fairly average, with a rate of 14.24%, and it boosts up to 29.99% if you default on your payments.
